I was born and raised in Havana, Cuba.

Studied at the Academy of Arts of San Alejandro in 1972.

In 1978 I sought and achieved political asylum in Madrid Spain. Later that same year, I was able to fulfill my dream of coming to the United States.

I have been an aficionado to photography since the 1960s. My next door neighbor was a professional photographer and in many occasions he took me to weddings and parties as an assistant and he showed me the art of photography.

Years ago I purchased a NIKON camera and started  journalism photography, many of my subjects are from the street, art shows, parties and friends.

I edit, process and print all my photos. I offer photo retouching too.
